Join us on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Sonesta White Plains Downtown for a full day of inspiration, connection, and empowerment — featuring a keynote by none other than Hoda Kotb, NYT bestselling author, award-winning journalist, and Founder & CEO of Joy 101.
Why This Event Matters to Us
At Jewels of the East, every piece we create carries the legacy of women artisans in Kashmir — women whose hands have shaped tradition, beauty, and livelihood for generations. Their craft is quiet but powerful, passed down through families and communities as an act of resilience and pride.
The Westchester Women's Summit embodies that same energy on a larger stage. Now in its sixth year, this summit has become a cornerstone event for women across the region — bringing together leaders, entrepreneurs, changemakers, and community members for a day that celebrates what women have accomplished and what's still ahead.
Presented by The Event Department NY in partnership with the Westchester County Office for Women — an organization that has championed equal rights for women for over 40 years — this summit is more than an event. It's a movement. And we're honored to be part of it.
What to Expect
The day is packed with meaningful programming from morning to afternoon:
The summit opens with a welcome and keynote from Hoda Kotb, followed by two panel sessions featuring thought leaders across industries. In between, the Discovery Village comes alive with vendors, interactive Experience Zone workshops — including art therapy, a healing foods kitchen demo, Krav Maga demonstrations, meditation sessions, a vision board workshop, and even a pop-up podcast studio — plus the signature "Wine, Women & Chocolate" networking hour to close out the day.
It's a full experience designed to nourish, inspire, and connect.
